Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper showing the Rear Parlor

In 1860, an artist from Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper visited the Lincoln Home and drew several interior rooms.  This view depicts the back parlor.  These drawings were used to recreate the appearance of the back parlor when the house was restored in 1988.
