Argand Lamps (pair)

Although pairs of Argand lamps are relatively common, a three piece set was unusual and would have been quite expensive. These lamps were used in Hampton’s Drawing Room and are recorded as “3 Glass Lamps…$7.50” in John Ridgely’s 1867 estate inventory.
