Eisenhower Toile [Fabric] Pattern

The pattern represents nine of the many places the Eisenhowers resided. Mrs. Eisenhower’s interior decorator, Elizabeth Draper, designed this fabric pattern for use in the Eisenhower Room at the Blair House in Washington, DC. It was also used for the drapes in the sitting room of the Eisenhowers’ Gettysburg home. The fabric was available in several colors, quilted and unquilted. At one time it was sold commercially. Mrs. Eisenhower also had a dress and rain gear made out of the Eisenhower toile.
