Fence Charger
Made by Montroy Electrical Mfg. Company

Los Angeles, CA
c 1920 - 1930

This 115 volt fence charger was used to electrify wire fencing. By generating an electric shock when touched, it insured that livestock would not push through a fence. This is probably a charger Scotty used to contain his mules in a pasture surrounded by the long fence lines on the Johnson property.
