Silverware
The Johnsons' silverware was made up of similar but not a matched set of floral patterned cutlery. The silver is engraved with the monogram of “BMJ” or “PJ.” “BMJ” are Bessilyn Morris Johnson's initials. It is possible that the monogram of “PJ” was Penniman Johnson, Mrs. Johnson’s maiden name, as Mr. Johnson did not have relatives with a first name beginning with “P.”
