This January 17, 1923 article has a photograph of the principal, students and the band gathered at Territorial Training College in New York, NY for the dedication of the Clara Barton Memorial Oak. Miss Barton began her career as an educator at the age of 17 in Massachusetts and later in Bordentown, New Jersey where she started their first public school.
