This seven-page letter "Mrs. Helen Strong Thompson begins, “To my dear suffering one…"..It deals primarily with "Christian Science" and its followers.  Miss Barton was interested in the Christian Science faith at the end of her life. The letter also discusses Miss Barton’s attendance at the Encampment of the Grand Army at Saratoga.
