Poetry Lecture and Recital Poster

By 1920 onward, Sandburg spent many weeks a year traveling and lecturing. "He was considered the master interpreter of his own poetry. His deep, rich voice became familiar to many, and through his readings many former non-believers in free verse began to discover and enjoy the new rhythm and subject matter of his poems."
