Fire Extinguisher

The Sandburgs placed fire extinguishers strategically throughout the home to protect the home from the devastating effects of such tragedy. Margaret Sandburg recalled that “the fire extinguishers were installed when we moved in shortly after, because father worried about losing his papers in a fire like the one that destroyed Uncle Ed Steichen’s studio.”
