The visitor center consists of a spacious lobby with an information desk, bookstore, viewing benches, and a large wall graphic depicting the mountain prior to carving- known to the Lakota as The Six Grandfathers.   The visitor center also contains an exhibit hall with sections about Gutzon Borglum, the workers, the carving process and some of the dedication ceremonies.  Two theaters show the film \"Mount Rushmore: Carved in Stone\" which explores indigenous perspectives, presidential legacies, and the workers who made it possible.
