The Magic of Community

Program Overview

Students will travel back in time to learn about how the community of Cliff Palace lived and worked together. By comparing activities in present-day communities to those of the past, students will discover the importance of working together to achieve common goals.

Teacher-led Activities

The following activities provide an overview of Mesa Verde National Park and an introduction to Pueblo history. If you have scheduled a live ranger-led session for this program, these three activities must be completed beforehand.

Logistics

  • Program are 45 to 55 minutes in length.
  • Videoconferencing format for programs include Zoom, Google Classroom through Hangouts, Microsoft Teams or any other web-based service you use for class.
  • A 2-minute equipment check and connectivity test will be conducted an hour before the scheduled live program.
