Intern Venus Amadi's Reflections

Shenandoah National Park

Description

Venus had the opportunity to do research on Shenandoah's Lewis Mountain that will aid in the development of an interactive curriculum. This area is culturally significant because it was the only place in the park that was for African Americans during the segregation era. The research she collected this summer will allow students to interact with the park's history more than ever before. Thank you for all of your hard work, Venus, and thank you Shenandoah National Park Trust for funding our intern program.
