Cedar Creek Fish Passage Restoration

Description

Since 1949, the path of salmon on Cedar Creek had been blocked by a culvert. This 1990s video shows the stream restoration project that saved a salmon spawning stronghold.

You can visit Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park and drive over this bridge along Howland Hill Road where the salmon are running once again.
