Celebrate Founder's Day with a free tour in Mammoth Cave! Pick up your free tickets at the visitor center for one of the times listed below. Tickets are free but are required for cave entry. The trip is approximately 3/4 mile round trip. Enter the Rotunda, see the remains of an 1812 saltpeter operation, experience some of the most famous ares of the Mammoth Cave. Enjoy a day out with the family, friends or experience the park yourself. Either way it's sure to be a fine time!

Free Self-Guided Discovery Tour
Time: 10:00 - 2:00
There is no tour limit associated with this tour. However, tickets will be required for cave entry and may be picked up at the visitor center. Once tickets have been picked up, visitors may enter the cave anytime between the hours of 10:00 and 2:00. This tour route covers the exact route of the Mammoth Passage Tour, but can be done at one's own pace.

Free Mammoth Passage Tours
Times: 9:30, 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 2:00 & 4:30
Tour is limited to 40 people and tickets are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Once ticket supplies have been exhausted no further tickets will be issued, so plan to arrive early. Tickets may be obtained in the visitor center.
The tour routes above will require a steep 1/4 mile walk down to the Historic Entrance. All visitors will be required to walk across cleaning mats to aid the park in reducing the spread of White Nose Syndrome - a disease that has killed millions of bats since its discovery in the United States in 2006.
