Old stone wall in the woods

Ever wonder how Native Americans used Vermont’s flora and fauna before European contact? Join State Archaeologist Jess Robinson for this evening presentation to find out! During the one-hour presentation, Jess will discuss how he and his colleagues analyze the remains of firewood and foods from archaeological sites across Vermont. He will then use this data as a springboard to discuss changes to the environment and Native American Lifeways over the past 13,000 years. All ages welcome! Co-sponsored by Vermont Coverts and the Vermont Woodlands Association.
