Drawing showing carbon cycle on the land

Join Sustainable Woodstock and the National Park Service for a discussion with Dr. Keeton as part of our Carbon Work-Study Discussion Series. Dr Keeton will be presenting on his research about managing forests for carbon, his recently completed report on "Forest Carbon Market Analysis and Assessment of Opportunities for Vermont’s Private Forestland Owners", and his project with his company, SIG, in North West Vermont to aggregate landowners into a larger carbon credit scheme. We will discuss carbon as a resource to be managed and that can have positive financial benefits for private land owners that manage their properties for carbon.

RSVP With Zach@sustainablewoodstock.org to receive a copy of Dr. Keeton's "Forest Carbon Market Analysis and Assessment of Opportunities for Vermont’s Private Forestland Owners" report. These are free and open to everyone. Snacks provided. Learn more here; .http://www.sustainablewoodstock.org/our-programs/carbon-work-study-discussion-series/.
