Note that Jackson street is closed to vehicular traffic within the park's 4 square block boundaries. The visitor center has a southern entrance connected to the visitor parking lot by a straight brick pathway leading with a short set of stairs leading down to the lot. A ramp can be used instead of the stairs, located west closer to the 7th street sidewalk. A western entrance to the visitor center is also accessible from the sidewalk along 7th street. Inside the visitor center, the information desk is located in the southwestern corner of the building. At this desk, tickets and site orientation is handled. Restrooms are located in the northern side of the visitor center. Two theaters which play park films are located on the southeast and eastern sides of the visitor center.
