America the Beautiful Pass Program

Effective July 2022

Please note: America the Beautiful passes are no longer available at our administrative offices or the Fort Spokane Visitor Center. Unfortuantely, this includes the Senior and Access passes. Passes can be acquired online on the USGS website. If you prefer to get one in person, look on the same site for a list of federal recreation areas and offices which issue the passes. Local offices with passes include the Colville National Forest Service offices in Colville and Kettle Falls, as well as the Spokane District Bureau of Land Management office in Spokane. Please contact any office first BEFORE driving there to double check supply and operating hours.

The America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites across the United States.

Passes cover:

  • entrance fees at Federally operated recreation sites where per person entrance fees are charged.

  • certain cards also provide a discount on certain amenity fees

In general, one pass covers the fees listed above for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas or up to four adults at sites that charge per person. Children age 15 or under are admitted free. Some passes provide additional benefits, such as a 50-percent discount on camping at some sites for holders of Senior or Access Passes. Always check with individual sites for details.

For more information on these passes, to acquire them online, or to find an issuing location, please visit the USGS store.
