KOVA Subsistence Resource Commission to Meet, May 10-11

The National Park Service’s Kobuk Valley National Park Subsistence Resource Commission, published in Federal Register notice 83 FR 9867, has been rescheduled. The meeting will be held in Kotzebue on Thursday and Friday, May 10-11, 2018. The meeting is open to the public. Call in information is as follows:

The meeting will be held at the National Park Service’s Northwest Arctic Heritage Center, 171 Third Avenue. It will begin at 1:00PM on Thursday, May 10, and is scheduled to adjourn for the day at 5:00PM. The meeting will resume on Friday, May 11, at 9:00AM and it will conclude at 12:00PM.

 

Topics to be covered include reports from the nine-member commission on subsistence issues and concerns, updates from NPS staff, management issues, wildlife research and monitoring activities, and Federal Wildlife Regulations.
