Blacksmith shop and barn at Boyhood Farm
Blacksmith shop and barn at the Boyhood Farm.

President Carter's beliefs and personality were shaped on a rural farm where he lived from 1928 to 1941. Experience a bit of nostalgia and learn more about the childhood of our 39th President and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate by participating in guided walking tours of the Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm. We invite you to step back in time to the 1930's at the following time:

Saturdays & Sundays at 1:00 pm

Tours will be limited to the first 25 attendees. Please wear comfortable walking shoes for this 30-minute walking tour. For more information, please call the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site at 229-824-4104 ext. 0. The National Park Service reserves the right to cancel presentations due to inclement weather.
