2016 has been an amazing year, full of activities, partnerships, celebration, and looking forward to a SECOND CENTURY of National Park Service success!

With a goal of connecting with the next generation of park visitors, supporters, and advocates, the National Park Service has spent the last year reminding everyone that the incredible resources of the national parks belong to YOU, and reaching out in new and creative ways to connect people and communities to parks.

Visit the Centennial Successes page to see pictures and descriptions of the ways Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve engaged the centennial goal.
