Edgar Allan Poe Returns!

Baltimore-based actor David Keltz will return to northeast Ohio for the ninth straight year to present Poe in Person: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe at James A. Garfield National Historic Site on Friday-Saturday, October 19-20. Keltz, the nation’s foremost Edgar Allan Poe reenactor, recites Poe stories and poems completely from memory.

Each evening will have a 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. program that include an open house tour of the Garfield home. The 6 p.m. program will feature performances of the famous poem The Raven and the story The Cask of Amontillado. The 8 p.m. program will feature The Raven, as well as the story The Black Cat.
Tickets are $15.00 per person and will be available at James A. Garfield National Historic Site beginning Monday, October 1; they are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call the site at 440-255-8722 for additional information. This event is for individuals age 16 and over.
