National Park Service

Enjoy many different activities throughout the day at our annual Civil War Weekend! Held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 15-16, visitors can interact with soldiers in camp (and on the baseball "diamond" for an informal game!), watch firing demonstrations, embark on a Civil War Journey to find out what happened to local townspeople during the war, join Mrs. Lincoln for a tea (children ages 6-12), take up "arms" during our kids mini militia and drum Corp, enjoy period music, and much more! Food trucks will be available on site. Admission is free, including entry into the Garfield home, where Lucretia's Dresses will be on display through the end of July.
