Repairing trails at Isle Royale can test your ingenuity. To repair sections of the Ishpeming Trail in 2013, trail crew strapped replacement boards to 3 canoes and paddled across Lake Siskiwit.

The fees you pay while visiting Isle Royale National Park stay within the park and improve and upgrade services and facilities. Every year as many projects as possible are funded and completed.

  • Transcribed and indexed 93 park oral histories
