Winter Solstice Hike at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore

Join a ranger for a late afternoon hike at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s West Beach on Saturday, December 17, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Catch the sunset and enjoy sweeping views of Lake Michigan and Chicago from the top of the stairs on the Dune Succession Trail. Celebrate as we approach the shortest day of the year. Meet at the West Beach parking lot. There is no parking fee.
