Independence Hall Tickets - Individuals and Families

Walk up tickets

There is no charge for walk up tickets. Tickets are distributed each morning from the Independence Visitor Center at 6th and Market Streets starting at 8:30am. They are limited in quantity and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. On busy days, all the tickets may be distributed by 11am.

  • Request tickets for any available time on the day of your visit
  • Visitors who arrive at 8:30 a.m. have the best selection of times
  • One person may pick up a maximum of ten (10) tickets for a family or small group
  • For larger families, one person for each ten (10) people must come to pick up tickets
  • Everyone in the group needs a ticket, even infants

Reserved tickets

Reserved tickets are a good option for those visitors who do not plan to arrive in the park early, or those who prefer a particular tour time. Call toll free at 1-877-444-6777 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Eastern Time) or reserve your tickets online through the reservation website.

  • The reservation fee is $1.00 per ticket. Passes, including the America the Beautiful Annual and Senior passes, do not cover this fee.
  • Everyone in the group needs a ticket, including infants
  • Individuals and families may reserve up to ten (10) tickets per call.
  • The reservation agency will send you a confirmation letter with reservation number. Bring the reservation number and valid identification to the "Will Call" counter in the Independence Visitor Center (6th and Market Streets) at least 45 minutes before your scheduled tour on the day of your visit.
  • Reserved tickets may only be picked up on the day of the tour.
  • Tickets not claimed 45 minutes prior to the tour time will be released to walk-up visitors.
  • There are no refunds under any circumstances. Please contact the reservation agency directly with questions regarding the ticket refund policy.
