INHP Student Videos

Through a generous grant from the National Park Foundation and with support from WHYY local students were able to put their vision of a National Park onto film.

This project uses the medium of documentary filmmaking and the perspectives of minorities and people who have been traditionally “underserved” by national parks to tell the untold stories of those people and their parks.

Two students, Eric Weston and Soleil Widman, seniors at High School of the Future, were selected to make a documentary about Independence National Historical Park.

The students planned, scripted, filmed and edited this short video relating their experiences in the parks.
