The Historic Wallpaper Study was conducted in 2007 to document the condition of wallpapers at the Truman Home and Truman Farm Home and to provide information about manufacturers and age. Twenty-nine wallpapered spaces in the Truman Home, 6 remnant rolls and 6 wallpaper samples from the Farm Home were evaluated for the survey. Wallpapers from the Truman Home date primarily to the period 1953-1973; Farm Home wallpapers date to 1906-1917.
