Homestead National Monument of America's
Facilities Closed Thanksgiving Day
All facilities at Homestead National Monument of America will be closed on Thanksgiving Day,November 28. The trails will remain open from dawn until dusk and visitors are welcome to hike from the Heritage Center and Education Center parking lots. The Heritage and Education Centers will resume normal hours of operation (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.on weekdays and9 a.m. to 5 p.m.on weekends) onFriday, November 29. This day will also mark the kickoff of the Junior Ranger Weekend and Winter Festival of Prairie Cultures.

Homestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park Service located four miles west of Beatrice, Nebraska and 45 miles south of Lincoln.
