The second artist of the 2015 Artist- in-Residence program at Homestead National Monument of America, Forrest Chapman, will be presenting a program based on his work at the monument onApril 12, 2015 at 2 p.m.at the Education Center. This is the seventh year of the monument's Artist-in-Residence program. There is no registration necessary and the program is free.
"Frosty", as he likes to be called, lives in Lincoln, is an Army veteran, retired employee of the Federal Government and artist. His preferred mediums are colored pencil and acrylic. He is excited about participating in the Artist- in-Residence program because "I would like to pay back the many blessings that I have received from my government." His presentation will include a discussion of his Daniel Freeman postage stamp design and "Daniel the Younger".
Frosty will be working throughout the area of Homestead National Monument of America through April 15th. He enjoys talking and welcomes sharing his art and creative abilities with all visitors.
