MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK
Christine Falls Bridge (1927-1928)

Spanning Van Trump Creek, this reinforced concrete, three-centered arch structure is veneered in native granite. Built in 1927-1928, the bridge is fifty-six feet long and thirty feet wide, and brings motorists within a few feet of the cascade of Christine Falls. It is an excellent example of Rustic styling used to harmonize with its natural setting.
