Peterson
Prize: Submission Guidelines
The final submission for a Peterson Prize project should include the following items:
- Drawings: One full-size set of drawings plotted on bond, along with a CD or USB drive with a set of the CAD files. Set up each sheet as an individual CAD file. Be sure to include any attachments (such as xrefs) and associated files, such as the pen table (ctb). (Final vellum plots will be made by the HABS office.) Hand-drawn projects may be submitted on Mylar, only upon prior arrangement with the Peterson Prize Coordinator.
- Field notes: Fold all field note sheets to 8.5" x 11" size. Label each sheet with the site name and with the HABS, HAER, or HALS number, if known. Do not bind the field notes. Including prints of digital field photos is encouraged. Label each page/print with the survey number.
- Historical report: Submit the historical report as a Microsoft Word file.
Entry forms must be postmarked by 1 June 2024, and final drawing submissions must be postmarked by 30 June 2024. Due to federal government irradiation procedures for United States Postal Service mail, it is strongly recommended that Peterson Prize submissions be sent via FedEx, United Parcel Service, or other delivery service.
Final submissions should be sent to:
