Join entertainer and songwriter Lito Arkangel as he shares his original compositions and other Hawaiian favorites. Lito is a native of the once sugar plantation town of ‘Ōla‘a (now known as Kea‘au). He began learning music at a very young age, from turning pages for his grandmother while she played piano, and from decades of backyard “jam sessions.” He has since established himself as an entertainer throughout Hawai‘i.

A life-long resident of Hilo, Mamo was formally trained by Nālani Kanaka'ole and Pualani Kanaka'ole Kanahele of Hālau o Kekuhi in the 'ai ha'a or low bombastic style of hula. Mamo continues to carry on this traditional form of hula.
