U.S. YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS JOBS

SUMMER 2016


Location:Hagerman Fossil Bed NM

Dates:June 20th, 2016 through Aug. 19th, 2016 (Dates are flexible depending on your school's schedule)

Pay rate:$7.25 Per Hour

Work Schedule:Monday through Friday

Work Hours: 40 hours per week (Daytime)

Age:Must be 15 years old by June 6th, 2016, or not to have reached 19 years of age by Sept 2nd, 2016

The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is a great chance to learn about the National Park Service through a summer work youth program that introduces young people to conservation opportunities in national parks.

If selected, you will work with experienced park staff on a variety of projects, including
painting, trail building and re-vegetation work as well as invasive plant removal and restoration efforts.You
will also help serve the park's summer visitors. Must have the ability to work outside regularly and perform manual labor.
