The National Park Service is preparing for the next chapter of the Claude Moore farm area of Turkey Run Park, and you are invited to help shape the park’s future!
On April 25, the NPS launched a public planning effort and invited the public, community, and former farm volunteers to share their vision for the park’s future.
The agreement between the NPS and the Friends of Claude Moore Colonial Farm, which provided day-to-day Colonial-themed programming in this area of the park for many years, expired December 21, 2018. The Friends’ operations and programming at the farm has concluded, and buildings are closed to the public. The public engagement process will help to determine what happens next and when.
