George Washington Carver National Monument, Diamond, Missouri is pleased to be hosting a Naturalization Ceremony on Friday, October 12, at 1pm. The Honorable Arthur B. Federman, United States District Court, Western District of Missouri will preside over the naturalization of 40 new citizens. Applicants for citizenship include individuals from 20 different countries, including Mexico, New Zealand, Ethiopia, and Cameroon.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony which will take place on the park grounds at George Washington Carver National Monument. In the event the ceremony should be moved inside the Visitor Center, there will be limited seating.
