Be A Junior Ranger

George Washington Carver National Monument is a fun place to visit! Plan to spend a couple of hours or a whole day learning about George Washington Carver, discovering nature, history, trying out the interactive exhibit area and becoming a junior ranger.

Be a Junior Ranger! Earn a badge by learning about George's childhood home. Students can complete the Junior Ranger Program on a single visit or by making reservations in advance to participate in Junior Ranger Day. Upon successful completion of a junior ranger booklet, children are awarded with a junior ranger badge and certificate. The Plant Doctor activity booklet is for ages 5 to 7. The Scientist activity booklet is for ages 8 and older. Booklets are available at the visitor center front desk.
