Youth Programs

NPS Academy

NPS Academy is an innovative program that introduces diverse undergraduate and graduate students, ages 18 to 30, from across the country to careers in the NPS. For more information see NPS Academy.

Interpretive Associates

Each year Grand Teton National Park hires Interpretive Associates. Work alongside park rangers and grow your public speaking and science communication skills. For more information, see Interpretive Associates.

Youth Conservation Program

The Youth Conservation Program gives local teenagers an opportunity to spend the summer working while learning about Grand Teton National Park. For more information see Youth Conservation Program.

Teton Science Schools' Graduate Program

This program is offered by Teton Science Schools, a Grand Teton National Park partner. The program weaves together academic courses and teaching experiences that position graduate students to make an effective impact in their chosen field. The Graduate Program is a unique combination of academic and practical educational training. Through coursework in ecology and education, students learn science content that they directly apply with teaching experiences in Jackson Hole, as well as in public and independent schools across the state of Wyoming. During their year of residency at Teton Science Schools, students can earn up to 32 transferable graduate credits through the University of Wyoming from their academic and practicum experiences.
