The Grand Canyon Association
Has Celebrated More Than 75 Years

As A Nonprofit Park Partner (Since 1932)


Serving as Grand Canyon National Park’s official nonprofit partner, Grand Canyon Association is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization chartered in 1932 for the sole purpose of supporting the National Park Service at Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon Association helps raise funds for specific park projects and initiatives that enhance the visitor experience and preserve the park for generations to come.

The Grand Canyon Association runs many educational programs including The Grand Canyon Field Institute, who offer guided educational hiking tours and classes, and a Travelin' Trunks program.

Grand Canyon Association sponsors regular events, from book-signings and lectures about the Grand Canyon region to exhibits at Kolb Studio. Plus, each September GCA hosts the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art event bringing some of the nation’s best landscape painters to the park.<
