Come Experience a Classic Ranger Program in Great Basin National Park!

Evening programs are a proud tradition in our National Parks dating back to the 1930's. Evening programs are a fun, relaxing way to end your day at Great Basin National Park by enjoying a 45-60 minute program presented by a park ranger.

At Great Basin National Park, evening programs are presented in the traditional format, without the aid of audio-visual equipment. Programs are given around a campfire in the early evening hours. Generally, programs will run between Memorial Day and Labor Day at the Lehman Creek Campground.

Topics may include:
Great Basin's Night Skies
Bighorn Sheep
Mountain Lions
Cave Exploration
Rattlesnakes
Basque Sheepherders
Surviving the Great Basin
and many more!

Please check at any visitor center for up-to-date information, including times, topics, and locations.
