National parks across the system engaged in a variety of activities to prepare for and celebrate the centennial. Golden Gate National Recreation Area was a big part of this effort. Take a look at what we did and join us as the National Park Service enters a new century in 2017!
Golden Gate National Recreation Area released two new web-based games that bring the park experience to the people. Children learn about their local national park unit from their homes and classrooms and develop the critical thinking and analytical skills necessary for becoming the world’s next generation of park stewards.
