Visitor Impact: Trail Closure
Location: Dipsea Trail and Deer Park Fire Road, near junction with Ben Johnson Trail
Project Dates: October 2016 - January 2017
The National Park Service will be performing trail maintenance on a segment of the Dipsea Trail. The project will include construction of stone risers on the Dipsea Trail near the Ben Johnson Trail junction. Intermittent trail closures will detour visitors to the Deer Park Fire Road when necessary. The trail is expected to be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; however, there may be circumstances that will require weekend closures.
