Rainbow Bridge National Monument will reopen to the public on Saturday, March 21, 2015. The monument was temporarily closed for trail repair after heavy winter rains washed out a segment of the trail presenting a safety hazard for visitors. Loven Contracting out of Flagstaff, Arizona with support from Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas completed work on the newly damaged trail segments. Now that access is renewed, park staff would like to remind visitors that the canyon is prone to flash flooding and to use their best judgement when planning a hike to Rainbow Bridge.
