Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is announcing modifications to concessions operations to implement the latest guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and local and state authorities to promote social distancing. The park continues to collaborate with park concessioners and partners about potential operational changes needed to protect the health and safety of visitors, employees and the community in response to COVID-19. In partnership with NPS concessioners, the park is announcing the following changes to concessions operations.

Aramark is implementing changes to visitor services at Wahweap, Bullfrog and Halls Crossing until further notice. Updates about the status of visitor services will be made every two weeks, at a minimum.

The following concessions operations are closed at Wahweap: lodging and the Rainbow Room Restaurant at the Lake Powell Resort, RV and Campground, and Marina Store. Takeout food only is available at the Driftwood Lounge. The Lake Powell Resort Gift Shop is closed to the public but will be available on an on-call basis for remaining guests at the Resort. Retail at the Sinclair Gas Station Store is closed; however, 24-hour pay-at-the-pump fuel is available. All boat tours and Horseshoe Bend rafting trips are suspended.

The following concessions operations are open at Wahweap: Wahweap Marina, boat rentals, fuel dock and the Wind Coffee Bar.

The following concessions operations are closed at Bullfrog: Defiance House Lodge, Bullfrog RV and Campground, and Bullfrog Dock and Stock. Takeout food only is available at the Restaurant.

At Halls Crossing the RV and Campground is closed; the Village Store is on-call with 24 hour pay-at-the-pump service. The Halls Crossing Marina Store will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Dangling Rope Marina (fuel and retail) will remain open at this time.

Antelope Point Holdings NPS Concessions at Antelope Point Marina is implementing the following operational changes until further notice. Updates about the status of visitor services will be made every two weeks, at a minimum. All visitor services at Antelope Point Marina are suspended (including boat rentals, boat tours, charters, marina store, gift shop and restaurant). The fuel dock is available on an on-call basis for emergencies. Access to private vessels will be provided on an on-call basis. The public boat ramp at Antelope Point Marina remains open.

The health and safety of our visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is our number one priority. The park and NPS concessioners are working with the federal, state, and local authorities to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We will notify the public about any additional changes to concessions operations and provide updates on our website and social media channels.

The NPS urges visitors to do their part when visiting a park and to follow CDC guidance to prevent the spread of infectious diseases by maintaining a safe distance between yourself and other groups; washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze; and most importantly, staying home if you feel sick.

Updates about NPS operations will be posted on www.nps.gov/coronavirus. Please check with individual parks for specific details about park operations.
