Southwest Conservation Corps (SCC)

Empowers individuals to positively impact their lives, their communities and the environment and operates conservation service programs across the southwest region that engage youth, young adults and veterans on public lands. SCC works to foster inclusive opportunities and collaborative partnerships for positive growth through development of knowledge, leadership, and compassion towards our lands and communities.

Who can apply: Open to the public, youth and young adults ages 18-25
Schedules: 10 week commitment, Summer, Year Round
Interest areas: Field work, conservation, trail construction, vegetation removal
Stipend: Varies

Southwest Conservation Corps - Ancestral Lands (SCC-AL)

Rooted in the culture and heritage of local tribal communities and engages Native youth and young adults in meaningful conservation projects on Native Lands with the National Park Service. The SCC-AL provides opportunities to Native youth to explore career opportunities while engaging in conservation work in with the National Park Service. SCC-AL also aims to incorporate traditional culture and language as part of crew lifestyle and project work.

Who can apply: Native American youth and young adults ages 18-25
Schedules: 10 week commitment, Summer, Year Round
Interest areas: Historic and prehistoric preservation, traditional agriculture, interpretation, conservation, trail construction
Stipend: Varies

Arizona Conservation Corps (AZCC)

Operates programs across Arizona engaging individuals and strengthening communities through service and conservation. AZCC is focused on connecting youth, young adults and recent era military veterans with conservation service work projects on public lands. AZCC programs promote personal growth, experiential learning and an ethic of natural resource stewardship while incorporating the guiding principles of community, dedication, challenge, integrity and FUN.

Who can apply: Open to the public, youth and young adults ages 18-25
Schedules: Summer, Year-round
Interest areas: Field work, conservation, trail construction, vegetation removal
Stipend: Varies

Utah Conservation Corps (UCC)

Offers service opportunities working on a conservation field crew or through individual placement with one of our non-profit or government agency partners and engages in projects throughout the state of Utah that address goals relating to environmental conservation, leadership, education, and sustainability. Utah Conservation Corps provides skills and certifications that help you become highly employable in both the public land sector, and the private job sector.

Who can apply: Open to the public, youth and young adults ages 18-25
Schedules: 3-10 months, Summer, Year-round
Interest areas: Field work, conservation, trail construction, vegetation removal
Stipend: Varies
Partner: Americorps
