Glacier Bay Cruise Ship Prospectus

Solicitation # GLBA-CRUISESHIP-08

Prospectus Under Which Multiple Concession Contracts May Be Awarded For The Operation Of Cruise Ship Services Within Glacier Bay National Park And Preserve

Updated Note (9/14/16):
In May, 2008 the NPS issued a solicitation for concession contracts pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51 for cruise ship services in Glacier Bay. Subsequently, multiple concession contracts were selected and awarded with terms of contracts being from January 1, 2010 to September 30, 2019.

The NPS provided an "open" solicitation period throughout the course of the contract term. This period allowed operators to submit proposals to provide services in the under-utilized shoulder season and allowed additional operators an opportunity to utilize prime season use days which became available over the course of the contract term.
Effectively immediately, the NPS is officially closing this "open" solicitation, and proposals will no longer be accepted. Proposals received prior to this date will be considered for a concession contract.

If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact Melanie Berg by email or call (907) 697-2230
