Fire Geospatial Systems Committee - Monday, Dec. 1
The committee will hold a regular meeting to address planning, budget,
implementation issues and new technology options. Chair- Kathie Hansen,

Fire Program Analysis (FPA)
-protocol areas and data gathering lessons learned
-preparedness module data needs (GIS and non-GIS) for 2004 priority parks and beyond, what's our role?
-data needs for future FPA modules
Fire Ecology Assessment Tools (FEAT)
-status and roll out schedule
-data development related to FPA
Fire History (point and polygon)
-NPS standard implementation status
-'03 and '04 projects
-interagency standards
Fire Management Plans
-GIS support for fuels, fire regime, fmus, etc. (data creation, analysis and maps)
-tie in with FPA needs
Incident Support
-ICS tools for ArcGIS 8.x
-other common ArcGIS tool needs (what do we miss from 3.x?)
-lessons from the season and how they affect all of us
GIS Committee - Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 2
The GIS committee will hold a 2 hour meeting to discuss GIS business needs
analysis, OMB 300-1 submission for 06 and enterprise architecture.

U.S. Park Police - Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 3
The U.S. Park Police will be one of the prototypes for GIS implementation
through the new Incident Management and Reporting System (IMARS). This
meeting will provide an update on the prototype development, Homeland
Security initiatives and other GIS implementation issues. Chair -Lt.
