Park List & Text Area

There are two uses for this area:

1. Park List
   Where you can select a specific National Park unit to go directly to (i.e., place your mouse over the down arrow and left mouse click. A pull-down window will appear, scroll down the list until you find the park you are interested, left mouse click on that park. The pull-down will go away and the Main Map will re-draw "zoomed-in" to that park. Also, the pull-down area will switch into "text-area" mode. There are three links above the pull down are located outside the Main Map area (extent). If you click on any of the three links (NPS Samoa, NPS Guam, or American Memorial - Saipan) the Main Map will zoom-in to that park.
2. Text Area
   In this mode you will see relevant information either about the park you have just zoomed to or information from the tool you are using. In the example to the left when zoomed into Yellowstone's Old Faithfull area. The Identify tool was set to the building layer and the Old Faithfull Inn was selected returning the buildings information. Also, notice that there is a link to more information (i.e., View CAD Drawing).
