FALL HOURS AT NATIONAL MILITARY PARK
FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA -- Fall hours of operations for all public buildings of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park go into effect on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
The fall hours will include:
Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center:
Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center:
Chatham: Daily, 9:00-4:30
"Stonewall" Jackson Shrine: Daily, 9:00-5:00
Ellwood: Saturdays, Sundays and the Columbus Day holiday, 10-5
Wilderness Exhibit Shelter: staffed Saturdays, Sundays and the Columbus Day holiday 9:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with “Grant vs. Lee: No Turning Back” walking tours at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and the “Into the Wilderness” interactive program at 4:00 p.m.
Spotsylvania Court House Exhibit Shelter: staffed most weekends and holidays 10-6, with “The Race for Spotsylvania Court House” interactive program at 11:00 am, and walking tours at the Bloody Angle at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on those weekends when the shelter is staffed (check at one of the visitor centers for more information)
Walking tours will be offered on weekends and the holiday as staffing permits at the Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Centers. This schedule will remain in effect through Tuesday, October 31, after which reduced winter hours take effect.
