Q When can I reserve a tour?
A Reservations for the 2014-2015 Fall/Winter program are currently being accepted Reservations for 2015 Spring Programs will not be accepted until January 2015. Reservations are not accepted prior to Open Reservation dates.

Q When can a school group visit the park?
A School groups interested in participating in Ranger-led tours will need to make a reservation. Tours are offered during the academic school year only. Summer education tours are not offered. However, Self-Guided tours are offered year round.

Q How much do education programs cost?
A Education programs are free if a Fee Waiver form is submitted. At Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, we never charge admission for children 15 and under and only $5.00 for ages 16 and over. The fee waiver will waive the admission fee for all chaperons, teachers, and student over of the age of 15.

Q Do I need to make a reservation to have my class(es) eat lunch at the Picnic Shelter?
A Reservations are not necessary to use the Picnic Shelter before or after your scheduled program. The picnic shelter holds roughly 70 people and is available on a first come, first serve basis. There are a number of picnic benches and a large amount of green space available for outdoor picnicking in the event that the picnic shelter is full.

Q What is the Fax number to send my reservation and fee waiver forms?
A The number is (360) 816-6365. However, reservations request are now submitted online. Help conserve paper by e-mailing pertinent information (e.g., Fee Waiver).

Q Is the Visitor Center Open.
A The newly remodeled Visitor Center is now open! It is a great place to take students to watch the movie "One Place Across Time", explore other interactive exhibits, and buy a souvenir. Friends of Fort provide item for sale under $5.00 in the Bookstore/Gift Shop.

Q Can students still visit the Pearson Air Museum?
A Yes! Pearson is free to all who visit. It is also available for guided tours. If you are interested in an S.T.E.M based education tour please contact us at (360) 816-6232.
